The group has been established following the Waterwatch Southend Community Water Quality Summit to explore inconsistencies between different water quality monitoring and reporting platforms and improve public understanding of the data.

The meeting will bring together representatives from community organisations, public bodies, regulators, local authorities, MPs’ offices and water companies.

We will look at how different monitoring systems work, where gaps or inconsistencies exist, and opportunities to improve public information, collaboration and data sharing.
