We are pleased to share that Waterwatch UK has received news about potential funding from other local sources. As a result, we have made the decision to discontinue Anglian Water’s match funding at this time.
While we are no longer proceeding with this specific funding arrangement, we recognise that there may be future instances where an elected committee decides to request funding from Anglian Water or other Water Companies for specific projects. Any such decisions will be made independently by the relevant committee, ensuring that funding aligns with the priorities and needs of the community.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Kim Hall at Thorpe Bay Residents’ Association for her support and involvement in this process. Her dedication to community action and water quality has been invaluable.
Waterwatch UK remains committed to holding all responsible parties accountable while ensuring that communities have the resources they need to drive positive change.
